When you have CF, it is really important to do all of the things your medical team advises- take your meds, do your treatments faithfully, try to maintain or gain weight, etc. But these things can be overwhelming. Now, with so many patients on CFTR modulators like Trikafta, you may be having to learn new habits as your body changes and things start functioning better. That can be overwhelming and we will definitely address those lifestyle changes on this site but, for today, I just want to make it easy for you.

Ask yourself this question: “What is ONE new thing that I can start to do today that will have a positive effect on my health?"

  • Moving your body for 30 minutes a day with a long walk, 3 sets of 10 minutes on a mini trampoline, a trip to the gym?

  • Eating something green every day?

  • Removing harmful plastic containers and packaging from your home or replacing your cookware to make your meals healthier?

  • Adding in a healthy snack every day?

  • Not skipping meals?

  • Meal prepping every Sunday?

Each person is individual, but think about the one thing you can and will do that can improve your health and then make a commitment to yourself.

Healthier habits don’t have to be overwhelming- small changes over time that you can stick to will make a huge difference in how you feel.
