Better Digestion Green Drink
This is a great one for cold and flu season and it will help your digestion run better.
Pineapple aids digestion, especially of proteins, and when you're sick, it helps suppress coughs and loosens mucus. Mint helps clear respiratory congestion and soothe sore throats. Lime helps to promote a more alkaline environment in the lower digestive tract. Ginger supports better immune health, aids digestion, and adds yummy zing. If you are drinking this to get over a cold, make sure to assess your digestion when you get better. 1 cup coconut water
1 tsp grated lime zest (or 2 drops doTERRA Lime essential oil)
3 limes, peeled and quartered
1 cup kale leaves (1 or 2 leaves removed from stalks. OR use organic baby spinach)
1/2 cup fresh mint
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
5 drops liquid Stevia
1 tsp fresh ginger (grated or use a small peeled chunk of ginger or 2 drops Ginger essential oil)
Add all ingredients to high speed blender and blend about 1 minute until smooth
